A beautiful rare German Hanau solid silver tea caddy or sugar box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks along with the import marks for Sheffield 1893 and the importer being Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It has been beautifully made being embossed and a cast fruit finial to the lid. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.4cm) across by 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall and weighs 194 grams. A beautiful piece.
