Offered for sale is a stunning antique porcelain center console bowl manufactured in Germany by Von Schierholz during the 1930s.  The bowl features four children at the corners holding up the bowl and the sides of the bowl display extremely delicate flowers.  The interior of the bowl is hand-painted, and the edges are adourned in gold gilt accents.  This is a true work of art and highly prized for the workmanship.  Overall the bowl stands about 6 1/2" tall and measures about 13" in diameter.  The bottom of the bowl is marked with the Von Schierholz name in green and marked foreign. Appx 1919-1930

The overall condition of the bowl is excellent.  There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to note petals, flowers cherubs all appear excellent.  Possibly some very minor rubbing from storage however this has been extremely well packaged for the last 50 years. The hand-painted details are bright and vibrant with no wear to note and the gold gilt accents are strong with expected very minor wear but generally excellent throughout. The white porcelain is bright and the trademarks on the bottom are easy to read.
