Napoleonic War Letters 1ed Napoleon Propaganda Admiral Nelson EGYPT
Map
Early in the
Napoleon Wars, the British Navy, led by Lord Horatio Nelson, intercepted French
intelligence and seized numerous letters detailing motives and direction of the
French army. These letters were published as a strong piece of anti-French
propaganda and served as an affront to the French campaign in Egypt.
This two-part
first edition was an important piece of Napoleonic War memorabilia and has
proved to be a highly desirable work since it was first published.
