Function:
Limit switch is a very important safety device on a furnace. The function of a limit switch is to protect the furnace from overheating. If the plenum gets too hot, the limit switch shuts off the burner.
Attention:
Normally, switches have different temperature ratings and are located in key locations above the heat chamber of various furnace models. So when replacing one of the switches, be sure to use the switch with the correct rating. This one is 190?H.
