Cable features 5/8-18 thread upper nut to connect to tach and 7/8-18 thread lower nut to connect to mechanical tachometer drive with .187 tang input. The .187 tang tip is the superior snap-in self centering compensating type for rugged long life service. Drive to tachometer is common .104" square with 5/8-18 thread. (see picture of common 5/8-18 thread tachometer).
