This
is a lovely antique alphabet cross stitch sampler, showing letters, numbers and borders stitched with bright red and light pink cotton thread.
The
sampler is Dutch and is dated 1914. It is signed 'P Onderwater'.
It measures approximately 11 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches or 29.5 x 29 cm.
The needlework has a few loose threads. The cloth has some spots on it and is a little bit worn in a few places, please see photos.
