Vintage Freemason Knights Templar Long Coat with a total of 20 buttons with the insignia "in hoc signs vinces" which is the motto of the Knights Templar in the American Rite of Freemasons. The Freemasons have been in America since the early 1800's so I am not sure of the era for this one.
Comes with WWI Veterans Knights Templar Morning Medal. Attached to the coat. SEE PICTURE.
- made of black wool and lined with black satin type material
- 6 vertical panel construction for fitted styling
- sleeves lined with striped cotton type material with cream base
- short standing collar with hook and eye center front
- metal buttons all down center front, at sleeve cuffs and back skirt vent
- waist seam
- inside right side pocket
- above sleeve cuffs are cross insignia with metallic thread
- back skirt vent with pleats and button detail
- interior pockets, left breast, left waist and two in back vent
- skirt hem is hemmed
