A natural cedar that grows wild in the mountains of Yakushima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan,

at an altitude of over 500m.

Among Yakushima's cedar trees, those that are over 1000 years old are called "Yakusugi".

It has a unique beauty because the wood grain is clear and the bamboo grain pattern of the upper heather appears, and it is characterized by little distortion even with complicated wood grains.

The wood is hard and contains about 6 times more resin than regular wood, so it has antiseptic, antibacterial, and insect repellent effects, and it retains a unique scent even after processing.

Currently, logging is prohibited, so only pre-harvested wood and fallen trees (thinned wood) can be obtained, making it an extremely rare and high-quality wood.

The heartwood is reddish brown.

It is used as a high-quality material for architectural fittings, architectural ceiling panels, hanging objects, transoms, furniture, crafts, etc.

Remove the barrel and insert the converter straight into the section.

Turn the knob to the left, lower the internal piston,

and immerse the nib in ink up to the section.

While turning to the right, draw in ink by suction.

After suction is complete, wipe the nib clean before use.

Remove the barrel of the fountain pen, point the nib upwards,

and insert the cartridge straight without twisting.

After installation, wait for the ink to reach the nib and perform a test write.

Note that ink cartridges are not included due to import regulations.
