I have here for sale a book entitled PORTRAIT MINIATURES, by Dr George C Williamson, edited by Charles Holme, and published in 1910 by The Studio Ltd in London.
The book contains 56 portrait plates, 16 of which are black and white, 40 of which are in full colour. Contained within: title page, prefatory note, list of illustrations in colour, list of illustrations in monotone, the main text (32 pages), then the rest of the book is the full-page portrait plates (56 in total), all of which are in fantastic condition. 2 double-sided pages of advertisements to rear.
Half green leather on dark blue cloth hardboards. Brown spine with five raised bands, gilt lettering and Blackburn Public Library gilt stamp to spine. Bumped board corners, spine cover is in tact with scuffs to head and tail. Scuffs to front and rear hinge, and leather corners heavily rubbed. One spot of foxing on prefatory note page but generally none. Blackburn Public Library stamp on title page and back free endpaper. Binding firm throughout.
Condition: Very Good. viii, 32 pages + 56 pages of illustrations, 29 cm x 21 cm.

We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
