I have here for sale a framed COLOUR STRIP MAP OF THE ROAD FROM CHESTER TO CARDIFF in Glamorganshire by John Senex, based on early road maps by Thomas Ogilby.  This one sheet covers the section from Wrexham to Newtown.  It is full colour and has a small colour box to the centre at the top showing the different key places on the route and how far they are from each other.   It is taken from the book 'The Roads through England delineated, or Ogilby's Survey, Revised, Improved and Reduced to a Size portable for the Pocket by John Senex F,R,S. Being an Actual Survey of all the Principal Roads of England and Wales ...', published by John Bowles, London, 1762.  It is framed in a black and gilt frame which measures 18.5 x 24 cm.  Properly framed with brass hooks and wire ready to hang on the wall.
