The XL88 is a line-level 8x8 matrix mixer that accepts eight group outs pre-mixed on the main console and outputs them in eight completely independent mix balances.

As an outboard device, it can expand the capabilities of any mixing console, and the XL88 allows you to provide different mix-balanced sounds wherever they are needed.

The XL88 is fully modular, can be mounted in a standard 19" rack, and is 4U high. Its light weight eliminates the need for a rear support.

All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced, with the option of transformer balancing.

The audio quality is  the same as of other MIDAS consoles, and is  a fully professional unit interface.
