New Old Stock shifters with used blades
odd duck new set of Avanti or some other lower group shifters with record ti lever blades installed
This is one of those parts that have hung out for years with me trying to figure out how to sell them or to take them apart
Someone took some lower lever 8 speed shifters that are brand new and installed used record titanium blades on them , Its like making a fauxnago . Why i dont know, maybe the blades were damaged or someone was trying to fool the boys. The shifters work perfectly, left is 2 or 3 chainrings, the right is 8 gears So they will work great for you 8 speed but, dont expect record quality. The shifts are via single paddle. Im also not 100% sure if they were Avanti or early Mirage but i dont know that it matters. The blades are nice but have few scratches.
So buy these knowing you are buying new 8 speed shifters from one of campys lower level groups for less than half the price oractual record but dressed up to be prettier
