These A 440 tuning forks are available in nickel-plated or hardened steel. They measure approximately 5-1/2" in length. Never strike forks against hard objects, as doing so may permanently alter their pitch. A padded object or your forearm will provide a loud, sustained resonance. Our specialist technician prefers to use a knee cap for striking the fork!
