I have here for sale a book entitled THE POETICAL WORKS OF GEOFFREY CHAUCER. This was published as volume I of A COMPLETE EDITION OF THE POETS OF GREAT BRITAIN, published 1793 Iohn and Arthur Arch of London, and by Bell, Bradfute and Mundell of Edinburgh. It has an illustrated title page with vignette designed by Edward Francesco Burney and engraved by Francis Chesham, followed by an eight page Preface.

Pages 1-612 contain the works of Chaucer, led by the Canterbury Tales but with all of his other poetical works.

Pages 613-647 contain the work of Sir Thomas Wyat.

Pages 648-668 contain the work of Thomas Sackville, Lord Buckhurst

Fully bound in brown leather with gilt decorative edgings, five gilt bands on the spine, plain end papers. Both boards detached but no pages loose or missing. 25 cm x 15 cm.

Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.  If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
