Beautiful locket, with an ancient Greek silver coin - reproduction - the head of Alexander the Great, in a glass case.
On the obverse, within a poorly preserved dotted circle, is a head of Alexander in profile to the right, with a royal diadem and the horns of a ram, i.e. deified as Ammon-Zius. The reverse depicts the goddess Athena enthroned, with her left hand resting on her shield and her right hand holding Victory. Inscription of KING LYSIMACHOS. To the left, hermaic stele and below Victory, monogram.
The coin is a replica - recently made - of 925 Silver, inside the necklace's glass case.
The case is 22K gold plated, with triple coating of 22K 6macro gold.
