A rare New Zealand solid sterling silver and jade stickpin. It is hallmark for STG for Sterling Silver. I would date it to c1950. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a kiwi bird. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measure approx. 2.5 inches (6.4cm) long by 0.5 inch (1.5cm) wide and it weighs 2.4 grams. A more unusual example.
