Due to the major perfume companies suing EBay for allowing Sellers to list the perfume companies products for resale, it has become increasingly difficult to sell fragrances, wether they are new discontinued or part used. So To try to combat this, no perfume companies names will be used in listings.

Perfume companies want exclusivity to sell their products at hugely inflated 250% markup on prices, and will not allow sellers who are happy to accept lower profit percentages to do so. For no other reason than pleasing greedy board members.

Selling part used fragrances has been a major part of my business for many years, and seems even more sensible as a part of our challenge to recycle and reduce waste.

If a customer who has legitimately purchased a perfume, and decides after some use it is not for them, and wishes to resell that product, surely this cannot be deemed as illegal, but the perfume companies have won an initial court action against ebay.

This will not stop here, first perfume companies, but all the major labels in every market will follow, until reselling will be impossible.
