Traditional methods for producing clay figures and decorating with chaquira or beads have been in use since the 1630s. The unifying factor of the work is the colorful decoration using symbols and designs which date back centuries.

Each piece is beautifully decorated with chaquira (traditional Mexican beads) one by one in the style and tradition of the families, technique that has passed from generation to generation.
