VINTAGE LACY HALF SLIP

This is a superb vintage waist slip by respected US makers Vassarette. It's a Satin-Essence slip from their 'Underneath It All' range.

 

It is made from soft, silky 'Satin-Essence' nylon with fine lace trims.

 

The slip has a neat, crimped waistband stretching from 22-34" (best for 30" or less!), the hips are 40"-ish and the length is 23".
 

The hemline of the slip has a deep border of sheer lace, with fan patterns, floral swags and a handsome scalloped edge. There's also an extra lace 'corner' edging the walking slit at the side - see photos.

Size notes: the slip is labelled Medium and will also suit most Small sizes - measurements above!
 

The slip is in excellent condition, with a crisp, original inner label and has been laundered for freshness. There's a tiny pinhole about 6" above the hem - see photo.
  

A fabulous vintage slip with beautiful lace - deliciously silky and extremely desirable! Recommended.
