Description
This impressive antique Chinese Export Silver cream jug has a circular rounded form.
The surface of this antique cream jug is embellished with chased decorated stemmed chrysanthemum floral designs, all on a matte background.
The decoration to the body incorporates an embossed vacant circular cartouche to one side.
The upper portion of this fine silver cream jug is encompassed with a plain border beneath a plain, cylindrical elevated upper rim.
This Chinese export jug is fitted with a shaped C scroll handle modelled in the form of a bamboo stalk.
This impressive cream jug has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 850 standard silver.
ConditionThis antique cream jug is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.
The chased and embossed decoration is all very sharp.
The hallmarks struck to the underside are all very clear.
