This unique, color post card of St. Andrew's Cathedral, Honolulu, Hawaii, was sent from a Sailor Bill Kyte(then serving on the U.S.S. Nebraska, a Virginia-class, battleship) on February 26, 1914! The addressee was his father, then living in Atlantic City, New Jersey, U.S.A. I am pretty certain that Sailor Kyte did not get this post card himself during any voyage, but from a fellow sailor as a souvenir, etc. Online records show the Nebraska didn't visit Hawaii in 1914. The ship was most likely in the Caribbean, or off the Atlantic Coast at the time of writing.

To continue, the green, 1-Cent, "Washington," issue is in excellent condition! The ship cancel from the Nebraska's P.O. is quite good, but light/faded in some areas.

Lastly, as for the condition of the post card, itself, it's good-very good. It has some wear and tear around its edges. There are some noticeable stains here and there on either side(mostly on the back). Noted imperfections aside, this is a really nifty piece of U.S. Naval postal history!
