#1 🎧🥇 Silent Revolution HIFI RF890 (In this Listing)

FREQUENCY UNRESTRICTED

These are so new that barely anyone has them yet. They are definitely a premium option given that they cost slightly more, but they will suit event organisers who require the highest fidelity sound. We’ve found that the Ear Cavity provides more space than the RF309, increasing comfort but also providing a deeper chamber to really feel the resonance of the sound. The 40mm Dynamic Drivers offer a well-rounded presentation that sounds warm, full-spectrum and full of rich bass. They also somehow feel more immersive than the other headsets and so are well suited to Ecstatic Dance Journeys. 

We also love the increased range from the T80pro Transmitter which out performs any of the other transmitters for distance. It comes in a really nice case and feels like a professional piece of kit built into a solid aluminium case. You have the option of both Bluetooth input or you can use the phono cable for a wired option. 

There is nothing to complain about regarding the headphone build quality. They are a similar style to the RF309s, which seems to be the best design for long-lasting, robust headphones that have few venerable, breakable parts. 

If I had any criticism it would be the buttons. Although they are very slick and stylish, I would prefer if they were simple switches like the RF309.

They also have the option for making the lights flash in time with the music, which some people may love however for our events, it is needless and redundant. 

OVERALL : They over-deliver on sound and build-quality and for this they hold the top spot. 

#2 🎧🥈Silent Revolution RF309 (or Joe with Silent Disco King)

FREQUENCY UNRESTRICTED

We have been using these headphones for years and what can we say ;  we love them. They are solid and have never let us down which is very important when you run big events outdoors, regularly. They sound really great and although perhaps not as full and rich as the RF890s they never cease to impress our audiences with their tonal clarity and deep bass. 

The TX60RF transmitter is built into a high quality plastic case rather than aluminium but also benefits from an additional volume control for the headmic which comes included. The range wont stretch quite as far as the T80pro, but still find that people are able to really spread out far at our events if they choose. (Note : It is possible to use the T80pro or Tx60rf with both the FR309 and RF890 Headsets) 

OVERALL : These headphones have stood the test of time with us, we have sold thousands and have had very few warranty claims which shows that they are a pro choice. 

#3🎧🥉 Harry Style with Silent Disco King

FREQUENCY RESTRICTED (with SDK)

These are the round-style headphones that have become more popular of recent. They used to be the cheaper option with Silent Disco King although they are now more expensive and I am guessing this is because SDK have them locked to an exclusive frequency. (This means that you will only be able to buy future headphones from them) 

That being said they are still a great option for sound quality, providing a great immersive sound experience almost as good as RF309s. The Headsets are functional and easy to use, although we don’t love the shape and style for a few reasons. For one, they don’t fold up as neatly and therefore take up more space in a kit-box. Secondly they just feel more (and look) more clunky and fragile with a plastic headband that could easily be broken in several places. We don’t have a record of breakages as we don’t sell these, but I am guessing that they don’t won’t last as long as the others.

They usually come with a very plasticky transmitter which also feels more fragile than the other 2 transmitters mentioned above. 

OVERALL : Not our cup of tea (hence we don’t sell them) but still a great kit used in lots of events both big and small.
