. Found at low tide under rubble, Tulear, Madagascar, 2020. You know, an awful lot of my collecting was done this way, at low tide looking under one rock after another, so I know what collecting like that is like, and all I can say is, if finding one of these beauties is anything like finding a cowrie in Hawaii, it must be a thrill indeed!
. Anyhow, this is a spectacular, dark, gorgeous, glossy beauty from an exotic location where the photos say it all, so enjoy! Wow!

As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!
