It is a very heavy ironstone porcelain and is ornately decorated as pictured with two shades of blue on white. It has a pewter like top with a thumb lift and still has the original foil label on the inside of the lid. The bottom is marked Frankisch Beau, anno 1880, hauddekonert, Merkle Atelier.
This stein stands 8 3/4" in height and has a 4" diameter bottom. It is in excellent condition and was never used and only displayed.
