Elegant Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Curio Box 7982 G 3801 Engraved Date April 24th 1914 with Elegant LLC monogram
Presented is a stunning Tiffany & Co. sterling silver Powder, cream or
curio box with a slip on lid and gold gilt interior. It has a period engraved
date on the bottom of April 24th 1924 and an engraved dedication or
monogram of LLC on the slip lid top. It is marked for silver by Tiffany &
Co., with a style or product number of 7982G-3801, with a “ m “ letter for
silver made between 1907-38 under the direction of John C. Moore and has a
Dated dedication of July 24th ,1914. I have posted a picture of my
research on these marks in the photos above. It has only a ding in
the lid, a loss of gold gilt or wash from interior, some fine scratches from
gentle use and care. It is an excellent piece for the silver collector and
makes a great gift for almost all occasions from one of the finest silver
makers of the age.

an m letter for silver made between1907-38, sterling, 925-1000, marked with a 11 on
the interior of the base and 11 and 1 on the interior of the of lid
Condition: a ding in the lid, a loss of gold gilt or wash from interior, a period engraved date on the bottom of April 24th 1924 and an engraved dedication or monogram of LLC on the lid top, some fine scratches from gentle use and care.
