This adorable, child's umbrella can't wait for spring and for a little girl or collector to enjoy it once again! It is made of transparent green plastic and features the name and doll Raggedy Ann printed on the sides. The end of the handle is a Raggedy Ann head and there is a blue strap that a hand can be put through to avoid dropping it or losing it. There is no strap to wrap around the umbrella when it is not in use but the umbrella stays pretty tightly closed without it. It was made by Bobbs Merrill, Inc. in 1972. Introduced to the public in 1918 and created by American writer and cartoonist, Johnny Gruelle, Raggedy Ann has some real staying power as she is still loved today!

Measurements - This umbrella opens up to 23" in diameter. It's length is 22"

Condition - good vintage condition with one tear/rip and metal replacement (this creating an altered shape: See photos) The Raggedy Ann head on the handle has what looks like red paint smudges that are the result of the manufacturing process.
