Good vintage condition.
The 3 volume set from 1954 has the most age/wear. Edges of dust jackets are brittle and cracking. Covers are in good condition with wear noticeable on edges and near spine. There is some light aging/foxing on edges of pages. Inside cover pages have pencil notes, as shown in the final 2 closeup photos. All other inside pages are clean and free from markings. Binding is stable.
The 1971 book shows the least amount of age/wear and is free from notes on the inside pages.
