 No open open cracks or open seams. The table is finely grained spruce and the back is maple. Painted purfling. Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our luthiers and our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new setup with new ebony pegs, new tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings.

These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin!

Measures aprox.: total 60,5 cm / 23.8", body 35,7 cm / 14.1", vibrating chord length 33 cm / 12.99", weight 530 gr / ~18.7 oz.
