Vintage Elizabeth Ann Seton Relic Theca Reliquary w/ Red Wax Seal & Threads
This petite 3/4" round reliquary holds a First Class relic of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. There is a loop at the top so it could be worn on a chain.
If you open the back you can see the intact red threads and wax seal. There is a small paperboard circle on the inside that probably acted as a cushion. It seems to have partially stuck to the wax seal. I was going to try peel it off or perhaps moisten the paper to loosen it from the seal, but thought it best to leave that up to the discretion of the new owner.
