This water softener may or may not work if refurbished but to be entirely fair I'm saying 'for parts, not working' so buyer beware please!

I don't know what the make is but hopefully if you're reading this you'll know what you're looking for and will be able to identify it. 

We used it for many years but it seemed to stop working and we didn't really miss it so it lay dormant for years until we in the last few months had it disconnected from our water and electric supplies. 

I've removed most of the salt but it's still VERY heavy and so please factor this in.  I have a shoulder injury so cannot help you move it - you'll need two strong people to get it from my basement to your car which is a fair distance. 

I was going to take it apart and down to the local tip but realised that it may be possible to recycle it and that it could be really useful to someone out there hence the listing.
