This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Marvel reached its peak of popularity and creativity during the Sixties and early Seventies. In the Seventies, Marvel made a decision to expand their universe of characters. They published quite a number of "tryout" titles, such as Marvel Chillers, Marvel Feature and Marvel Premiere, all of which were used to present various characters before making a decision to give them their own title. Quite a number of popular characters got their first presentation in these titles. Here I have Marvel Premiere #59, dated April 1980, featuring the legendary cult hero of British TV, Doctor Who! It's in fine to very fine condition, with a few small, subtle cuts along the top edge of the cover - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
