Gorgeous Blonde Vintage USA Harmony Archtop.
Arched top and also arched back to help project the sound. All solid woods - birch body and poplar neck.
Low action- Easy player. Light and resonant.
Strung with its original heavy strings from when I imported it 30 odd years ago. I down-tune a little to make it easy to fret and it has a unique voice.
All original – great old blues machine. No buzzes no rattles no choking– plays clear and true on every fret and no ski -jump!
The Blonde Tiger Stripe finish was offered from1957 to 1960 as far as I know.
Can't see a date stamp inside but the mild V neck makes it a 57 or a 58. Ive had four or five of these over the years and this is by far the best which is why Ive hung on so long.
Not desperate to sell but at some point I need to make some space.
Will get a video done and up on Youtube as soon as I can.

Harmony did make thousands of archtops but this colour was only on offer for a few years and given that these were mail order guitars so many of them were neglected and trashed. Very few survivors and most of those need a refret and a neck reset which'll cost you the fat end of £400 just for the work.
This is ready to play right now and plays beautifully. Action at the 12th fret is 2.25mm treble side and 1.75mm bass with no choking or rattles so if you wanted you could probably shave the bridge a little on the treble side and bring it down to match. Personally, as it plays nice, I really wouldn't bother.

Any q's  Please ask.

Will pack insanely well and probably ship by UPS although collection would be preferred. If postage is less than £35 I will refund the difference.
