This is THE only product available to professionally scan Kodak/Agfa Instamatic film, where each photo frame is a square shape that is taller than more common 35mm film.

How it works:
The product components "snap" together using high-powered magnets, so there are no clips to break like on the original Nikon-brand film holders.
The film is clamped firmly on all 4 sides, meaning the film is held flatter than the Nikon film strip holder.
AND, there is no extra glass surface between the imaging sensor and your film.

What does this mean? Beautiful, high-quality scans of your film.

I used this product to scan both:
 - photo negatives (reversal film).

 - slide film (positive film) by cutting open the cardboard/plastic slide mounts.

This is a precision engineered product made by a small company of Stephan Scharf in Germany.
It is manufactured in plastic using low-volume FDM (Fixed Deposition Modelling) technology, which is much more advanced than typical DIY 3D printing.
