Plat en bois présentant une très belle patine d'usage ( Lac Sentani ?). Ce type de plat, maintenant remplacé par des écuelles en émail, servait de plat culinaire, notamment lors des partages de nourriture organisés lors de certaines cérémonies traditionnelles. Décoré et avec une attache pour être suspendu dans la case en forme de poing serré, entièrement gravé sur le pourtour et présentant un visage stylisé. Traces d'usage. Wooden dish with a beautiful patina (Sentani Lake ?). This type of dish, now replaced by enamel bowls, served as a culinary dish, especially during food sharing organized during certain traditional ceremonies. Decorated and with a fastener to be hung in the hunt in the shape of a clenched fist, fully engraved on the perimeter and presenting a stylized face. Traces of use. Sold with a presentation base.
