The jaw harp is an idiophone musical instrument from the percussion family. It uses a strip operated by the finger as a vibrating element and the musician's mouth as a resonance box. Different notes are produced by changing the shape of the mouth as when pronouncing vowels.

This piece maden in Ukraine so comes with a solid frame and contrastingly light and soft tongue, which has a loud, moderately rich sound and high sensitivity. This design is one of the simplest and most suitable for the first steps of wargans.
