An exceptional antique porcelain plate with floral decoration and gold gildling. To the base it has an impressed AM and 22-12 marks, and a small underglaze letter "a" in red. There is also a label with hand-written in Italian "Kyiv Manufacture Myklaschevski 1851-1862" referring to Miklashevsky porcelain Factory, Volokitino. However the sophisticated gold gilding is more typical for Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg.

There is a very similar in style, decoration and gilding technique plate at the KLAY, ceramics museum of Denmark (see last photograph). The plate is described as "Flower Plates for King Frederik 6 of Denmark, 1835-1840 Royal Copenhagen". It may also be that the plate is by one of the Paris factories.

I purchased this plate from the Florence based antiques dealer during the Parma antique fair.

It is 23.5cm in diameter and in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. There are multiple impressed marks and typical Sevres dating mark for December 1822, "22-12".

This plate has a very high artistic value! I highly recommend doing own research and purchasing the plate.
