ORGANIC - 20 Seeds

Dracunculus Vulgaris, this is probably one of the most vulgar plants that we supply but is extremely great fun to grow. The flower is enormous, rather rude looking and has a revolting smell, luckily this smell does not last for very long maybe a day or two. The other side to this plant is the foliage, which really is interesting, the stem grows to about 3 – 4 ft, is mottled green, speckled like a giraffe’s neck, tropical looking foliage is borne above the stem.

The seeds are ready for planting, you can plant them in a pot or directly into the garden at a depth of 3-5 cm. Since over time a tuber will form at the base of the stem, our advice is to plant the seeds directly into the garden to avoid damage to the bulbs. The plant is not picky about soil and lighting; in a shady place the flower will keep its shape for several days longer.
