1970's ABQ
Journal Newspaper Printing Blocks
This lot has 50+ newspaper letterpress metal
stamps for a variety of local businesses. The
stamps are for different fields of business
such as banks, pharmacies, plumbers,
associations, veterinarians and more. They are
from the 1970's and were for a major local
paper here in Albuquerque called the
Albuquerque Journal. They come in a wide
variety of sizes. Some have wood backs and
others are made of metal only.
Condition: These stamps have some nicks and
the like but they are low profile enough that
they will not affect the image. The wood has
ink stains. The wood mounts are hand made
Stamps are well put together and ready to be
used.
