Birds in a large, covered pen where they can run, scratch, dust bath or fly (We are breeding for body and egg size). 

All-Natural environment: No artificial lighting, additives or stimulus to force quail to lay eggs ... they laid because they want to.

The multi-breeding flocks are fed organic feed (not layers'); hens have access to a calcium mixture in separate container--no forcing males to eat extra calcium.

Proper breeding-group rotation / closed-entry system ensures no in-breeding and degraded genetic pools.

Our breeding is focused on raising egg size - our average egg now is 15 grams -- our record so far is 22 grams. We breed for above average body size but not super large birds because 1) they don't live as long, and 2) the males have issues breeding. [But our breeding history is only four years].
