This neat post card from Japan was sent to St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., on July 3, 1909! The sender was a sailor serving on the U.S.S. Denver, a Denver-class, protected cruiser! He wrote his father to express his love to the rest of his family and his father, especially asking about a little sister that would soon start school!

To continue, the green, 1-Cent, "Franklin," issue is in excellent condition! The ship cancel is superb!

Lastly, as for the condition of the post card, itself, it's very good! It's got some minor stains here and there on either side. It has only very minor wear and tear around its edges. The images on the front are still quite clear! Noted imperfections aside, this is a really neat piece of U.S. Naval postal history!
