This listing is for the antique shelf shown.   Appears handmade, 1800s.

The stain appears to be walnut color (but I am not an expert with stains or wood).   The wood is 1/4" thick, and is a bit pliable, and maybe a lot of this is a result of the hand cutout pattern.

Looks to be a bird of some sorty.   Like a chicken or rooster?   I can't tell.  Folk art.
