Vintage 1920s floral Iris flowers Lamé green and gold black silk velvet evening dress 1930s.

The bottom portion of the dress is made of black silk velvet that is very soft and flowy. There is a tier that ends just above the hip, like a peplum. The bodice of the dress is made of green, gold, cream, and black lamé fabric with Orchid flowers on it. The front of this area wraps for a closure. The bodice lining is a nude color. There are a few loose threads and the snaps may need to resewn. We did not see any holes or tears. The shape of the flower petals is mimicked in the jacquard in the lamé.

The dress does not have any odor or mildew. This piece is about 100 years old, it is in wonderful condition for it's age and is wearable. There is no additional  opening other than the exterior lamé bodice area wrapping around the waist. The under layer does not open, so your shoulders must be able to fit through the 36 inch waist measurement.
