Beautiful antique silver set of Dustpan and Brush, it can de used for Fireplace or Table.

The dustpan has a silver embossed or repoussé Tavern scene of an old Dutch Bar/Inn/Taverne and is decorated by Biedermeier or Victorian style flowers, garland, curls and Acanthus leaf in high relief silver. 

The brush has a soft, natural bristle head in an arched shaping and the silver handle is with a curved shape to fit comfortably within the hand, the brush is also decorated by Biedermeier or Victorian style flowers, garland, curls and Acanthus leaf in high relief silver. 

 Dutch high quality solid Silver 835/1000 with 4 hallmarks: Lion passant 2 (835/1000), Minerva Head, age date/year letter F/f = 1915 (brush) and H/h = 1917 (dustpan),

and also the maker’s mark mastersign V.S in oval of Silver Factory Fa. J. Vos & Co Haarlem Holland 1915-1920.

Size dustpan: about max. 18 x 18 cm, weight 175 grams

Size brush: total length about 25 cm, weight 100 grams.

Condition: considering the age over 100 years in very good overall original condition, still bright color, some small signs of age.
