Cable features SAE 3/4x20 threads per inch male thread upper nut to connect to female thread tachometer (see last picture), and 7/8-18 thread lower nut to connect to mechanical cable drive with .187 tang input. The .187 tang tip is the superior snap-in self centering compensating type for rugged long life service. Drive tip to tachometer is common .104" square. (see last picture of typical vintage 3/4-20 female thread tachometer).
