Marcasite Sterling Silver Purse Pendant & Pyrite Black Crystal Necklace. The purse pendant is vintage, I believe. Circa 1960's? The chain, I had custom made. It is solid sterling silver wire-wrapped with small facetted pyrite and black crystals to enhance the marcasite purse pendant. Marcasite is pyrite. I'm pleased how it turned out. The chain is very sparkly. It is 21" in length. It has a large sterling silver lobster clasp and ring for ease of putting on and taking off. Or of course you could just slip it over your head too, putting it on and taking off. The actual purse opens and closes to carry or hide a little something. I used to keep a love note from my boyfriend hidden inside. It snaps closed perfectly. All marcasite stones are secure and present. It is stamped 925 on the back of the purse. Simply a lovely, timeless, sweet, sparkly, conversational piece to own and cherish. You will love it.
