This is a Weiaer, New Old Stock, black Dummy door knob for a closet door.  Comes in original box.  The knob is 2" across and the back plate is 2 5/8" across.  Mounts with one screw through the door.  Would work on a door 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" thick.
