Acquired here in Lancaster County, is this beautiful tole painted FOLK ART tin rectangular/square box cannister/can with hinged lid, from the 1800s.

OLD painted design of bird and tulip and other painted designs.  

Guaranteed to be authentic.  

There are some expected dents and dings which add to the primitive beauty of this piece.   This piece in particular is dented in a little on the front which makes the lid a little harder to close, but it does, and it is awesome.   Paint is in good condition, having darkened with age, and just a few small spots of wear.

Rounded corners, measures approx 3.5" x 2.5" x 2" high.

In some of the boxes I acquired were originally buttons and sewing supplies, spice, jewelry and trinkets.   We are selling this box as empty.
