The newest train of the Tokaido Shinkansen, the N700S Shinkansen "Nozomi" is now available!
The N700S Shinkansen was developed by JR Tokai as the next generation Shinkansen standard train and started service between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020. It is the first fully remodeled Shinkansen in 13 years. It is the first fully remodeled Tokaido Shinkansen train in 13 years. Compared to the N700A, which was the most advanced model up to that time, the N700A has been further improved in terms of stability, safety, comfort, and convenience, incorporating the latest technologies such as shorter braking distance during earthquakes, enhanced snow landing prevention measures, battery self-propulsion system during abnormal conditions, and full active vibration control system.
(1) The cars included in the set are the same as those in the <10-1697 N700S Shinkansen "Nozomi" Basic Set (4 cars) >.
(2) Uni-track tracks are included, equivalent to those of the M1 set.
(3) Power packs are the high output (1.2A) "Power Pack Standard SX" and "AC Adapter for Starter Set".
