Whether you are a collector or simply looking for a practical tool for opening your favourite bottle of wine, this vintage  extractor is sure to impress.
The bone handled corkscrew is of unknown origin and is probably from the 1940s or 1950s (could be earlier). Each end of the handle is bound with pinned metal. The worm (or corkscrew) is showing signs of age but is perfectly serviceable and is secured through the handle with a yellow metal retaining washer with the riveted end of the shaft.
