I was told that this is a SCANDINAVIAN egg-beater tool! (Please advise is you know differently.)

This RARE and PRIMITIVE item is 15-inches in length and has a 1-inch thick handle. The opposite end has 5 carved points to do the mixing. (It resembles a tree root!)

It was demonstrated to me by holding the handle between both hands, and rolling it back and forth (similar action of starting a fire with 1 piece of wood).

It has a soft patina on the wood (unknown but looks like a hard wood like Maple). There is a narrow split and hole at the POKEY END. Also a 4-inch split (can't quite put a finger nail in) at the handle end. (See Pics)

Very minimal damage to this RARE item, considering its OLD AGE.  (I do have 2 of these; if you want a pair, please contact me.)
